hi. this is the first of hopefully many posts here.

i've been meaning to have a place to write for a while, so this is that place. expect a mix of things: notes from research i'm working on, thoughts on building things, and the occasional detour into whatever i'm reading or training for at the moment. some of it will be polished. most of it probably won't be.
